A study in roof options
This was a small study in how best to orient the roof to make the most of the view and considering the prevalent sun direction. It is always a balance to capture a fantastic view and bringing in lots of lovely natural light without flooding inside with too much sun. Thermal gain is an issue that can be countered with a little consideration, using shading devices and selective openings.
