This unique project involved the simultaneous transformation of two neighbouring properties. While the two homes share a similar brief, each will have its own distinctive design elements as we develop the plans to meet their specific needs. The overarching goal for both properties was to extend them with a wrap-around addition over two floors, incorporating the existing garages. We also identified that one of the properties required a full interior update, as it was rather dated, although both homes are in good condition externally. By collaborating closely with the clients from the outset, we’ve been able to create a vision for both properties that will not only enhance their functionality but breathe new life into the homes, offering ample space for their growing needs.

Brief

The focus of this project is to create more space by extending both properties with wrap-around additions on two floors, integrating the garage areas into the design. A key aspect of the brief is reconfiguring the layouts of both homes to improve flow and balance between spaces. One property will require a complete interior update, while the other is in relatively good condition. The design will preserve the external character of both homes, but with modern enhancements to suit the client’s taste.
